Leadership Team
Nadine is the founder, owner, and driving force behind Hakuba Ski Concierge. Her vision - putting people first, delivering true personalization, and elevating ski instruction through expertise and care - has shaped the culture, training standards, and guest experience of the ski school since day one.
British-born with 18 years of teaching experience, 16 of which in Hakuba, Nadine has also instructed in Canada, Austria, and the UK - bringing a breadth of perspective that sets the tone for everything HSC does.
Certifications: CSIA Level 3, CSIA TD, CASI Level 1, AST 1 & 2, Wilderness First Responder, Rescue 3 Swiftwater Rescue Technician
Canadian-born Wil brings over 35 years of instructing experience to HSC, including 16 years as a Senior Level 4 Course Conductor with the CSIA. As Technical Director, he sets the training standard at Hakuba Ski Concierge and brings a depth of skill, experience, and knowledge that is genuinely rare in the industry.
Former Ski School Director at Kicking Horse and Snow School Manager and Technical Director at Panorama Mountain Resort.
Certifications: CSIA Level 4 & Senior L4 Course Conductor, CSIA Park Course Conductor, Alpine Canada Coach Level 2, CASI Level 1, AST Level 1, ISIA Surf Instructor Level 1, Canadian Ocean Lifeguard
A New Zealander with over a decade living and working in Hakuba, Jade brings a background spanning guest-facing guiding and instruction combined with digital marketing and small business development.
As General Manager his focus is to make sure guests and staff get the experience they deserve, and to keep improving both guest satisfaction and staff wellbeing.
Certifications: CASI Level 2, AST 1 & 2, Rescue 3 Swiftwater Rescue Technician, Wilderness First Aid, BSc (Environmental Science)
Carmen brings a rare combination of warmth, organisation, and genuine local knowledge to the role, with 3 seasons of teaching experience and over a decade of skiing in Hakuba.
Proficient in Japanese, she guides guests from their first enquiry through to arrival, making sure everything is taken care of before they even step onto snow.
Certifications: CSIA Level 2, Wilderness First Aid, B.A. Political Science, JLPT N3 Certification & N2 Candidate
British-born Emma brings over 25 years of guest service experience spanning both the hospitality and ski industries. Few people understand the Hakuba guest experience as well as she does - and that depth of knowledge means guests planning their ski holiday are in the best possible hands from the very first enquiry.
Detail-oriented and genuinely passionate about getting things right, Emma takes the stress out of the planning process so guests arrive ready to make the most of every day on snow.
